Default I just couldn't stop myself

After reading so much about the Wapi's here, and then seeing them on E-Bay for $21 shipped from a seller with a good reputation (on E-Bay as well as here), I just could not hold out.

I watched, and waited for 3 days, half hoping they would all sell before I made up my mind. Well, they hadn't (still haven't as of this typing). I could not resist any longer.

I'm just glad I didn't buy two. (or am I just saying that because I think I should have bought two?).

    Well, what's done is done!!

    Great choice!!!

I too bought a Wapi, probably from the same seller and it shaves real nice. I didn't care for the look of the stainless steel scales(handle), so I quickly replaced them with these: http://www.classicshaving.com/catalo...001/312537.htm

I opted for the red bone and have really enjoyed the look. I believe any of the Dovo scales will fit the wapis. Good luck.

I have one with Jim having a set of monogrammed scales put on it.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it shaved once honed up.

I've bought two more since originally posting this thread. And, I know some will think I'm a little bonkers, I actually like them with the steel scales.
    Honed, they shave quite nicely!

    Default Nope

I think the steel scales are cool, too.

After reading the new book "Next" by Michael Crichton, I am feeling queasy about anything made of bone.

I bought 3 thinking that would be a nice number to have to shave with.
