    Default My New Pierce Chemical

    Snagged this on Ebay.

It arrived shaving, except it had about a 1/2" long line of corrosion on the bevel near the toe. It finally required a complete honing to get rid of the corrosion.

It now shaves like a dream--one of my best so far.

First picture was taken outside for correct color, but the blade looked dull so I took another indoors (still don't have a flash, sorry).

Yet another razor I can't turn loose of...

    Default Thanks

    Yeah, it's funny.

I still can't figure out why some razors hone easily and shave nicely, others, once I touch them with the hone, they are dead and I can't ever seem to get them shaving.

I save them because maybe someday I'll figure it out.

Maybe I just need to look for those cool lightning bolts on the blade and everything will be all right...

Default Just shaved with it again

And this razor is amazing. I can't believe how smooth and nice a shave I am getting.

    Does anyone know about these?

There seem to be a zillion squarepoints and each one has a different name. Is this really a branded generic of a different type?

I have never seen them before in my 5 months of looking for razors so they must be rare :-)

Very nice score. I have one coming to me that looks , at best, to need a lot of cleaning. I got it for the handle..I thought looked cool.

    Well done!
