Henckels 4/8: What's it worth
I found a henckels 4/8 in my 'todo' pile.
It is still in good shape: no rust, no pitting and the scales look reasonably fine. Don't know if they are the original ones. They seem to fit the blade like a glove, but it has no markings. The blade itself is plain, with the twins on the tang, and little hone wear.
I don't generally shave with anything smaller than 11/16, so I am thinking of selling it on the BST, but I have no idea what it is worth.
Any idea about a fair asking price?Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Hmmm.....I've picked up some of the smaller (unhoned of course) Henckels off EBoy for between $20 and $30.....they needed cleaned up too but weren't all that bad. Honed and cleaned....$50 or so? Just my guess......

I wouldn't go below $50. I've seen a few Henckels go lately at what I'd consider quite high prices, well over $100. I wish I could be more specific, but I tend to not memorize the selling prices of random razors on ebay They were larger razors of course, but still.
I think I'd say $60-$75, just my opinion of course.

It's worth no less than the lowest price you'd be happy letting it go for!
