Any Waterville for $45 is a good deal. They're great shavers, and highly collectible due to rarity. I've got 3 (and I'm open to offers for the 3 ...I'd rather make than collect).

Thanked: 21Well, it arrived last night. There was a tiny bit of something or other on the side of the spine near the heel end, and it came right off with some Maas. It doesn't look like its ever seen the hone. Now, we just wait for my local Woodcraft to get in my 4k/8k, and I'll learn to hone on a cheaper junk razor, and then we'll hone this sucker right up in the next month or two!!
I like the vendor. This is most definitely a side business for him, though-- the receipt is from a hardware and farm supplier. The razor I bought stayed on his site for a few days after I bought it, so I'm not sure if the inventory updates automatically. It took him a day or two to contact me with a question, so he's not on our "want it yesterday" timetable, but he was very friendly and accommodating---- and he has one more Waterville with a gold washed blade!!
