A new one for me.

Hi all,

I picked this up at a local antique shop today. It's actually not in bad shape. There is some rust staining, but no pits, and the edge is in good shape too, it seems.

I've never heard of the maker before. Anyone got any ideas? The scales look like ivory or bone, and it's a 5/8 or 6/8, but closer to 11/16". The tang says 4/11.

I had to coax it gently open, it hasn't been opened in a long time. But a small drop of oil and warm water, she opened just fine.

The scales are a bit warped, but still are in good form.

I got it out the door for 6 bucks and change. Good to perfect my honing with anyway. Who knows, maybe it'll make a great shaver??

Ach, you beat me to it....

There was a little database bump that probably set you back. No worries, and it's good to see you still around.
