Default I didn't know they made them so small!

I have handled a few Wade & Butcher straights in my time! The most common size in my experience is always between 6/8s to 7/8s. 8/8s are not as common but you can find plenty of them out there, and until yesterday I thought the smallest razor W & B made was a 5/8s, this being the least common. well yesterday in the mail I received a shoulderless concave ground 5/8s W $ B and as a bonus I received a 4/8s medium hollow ground W & B with no discernible hone wear! beautiful razor but so delicate!
    Does anyone else have a 4/8s W & B?

    Here is a picture. I put an 8/8s W & B for comparison:

I have a stiff little 4/8 TEW French Point on the project bench. That one will probably get Gary's tortoise scales once I play with my rbd's for a bit. Alll in all, a cool find Mark

You sure love your Taylors eye witness blades, don't you Ilija!?

    I guess my question is, are W & B 4/8s razors common or rare, and does anyone else have a W & B 4/8s?

The smallest I've seen was a 5/8, that perished in a restoration error early on in my "career." As for the TEW.. Get one and you'll see why I'm so gaga over them

Those 4/8 med. hollow blades make really great shavers.

Just like their bigger-sized cousins, many makers had quite similar models.

So do you have the W & B 4/8s model? have you seen many of them? would you say that they are common?
