    Default Help ID this razor

Picked up a straight today, and I was wondering if anyone could give me more information about it. I'm not exactly sure how to measure the blade but it is just over 5/8 of an inch from the spine to the edge, and about 2 3/4 inches long. Pictures to follow soon.

    On one side etched

"KEEN as is this razors edge invisible"
    Shakespeare Loves Labor Lost

    On opposite side etched:
    Made for
    HAZARD, HAZARD, & CO.

    On tang:
    George Butler & Co.
    Trinity Works
    Sheffield
also a small circle with the letters ART inside it

    On opposite side of tang:
    No 1

    On spine etched:
    Monday

Made in Sheffield, England by George Butler & Co., maybe distributed or marketed by Trinity Works. Part of a 7-day set originally (the monday razor). The blades made in Sheffield are well known for their quality.

Very close... the trinity works was a foundry where the steel was made and Butler was affiliated with it. these razors are pretty nice to use i have one in a spike point.

some other "works" that come to mind:
Marshes & Shepherp were at the "pond works"
southern & richardson were at the "don works" as was Cooper Bros & Sons
john baker at the "wheedon works",
brookes & crookes at the "atlantic works"
Williams Greaves was at the "Sheath works"
    Be just and fear not.
