That's pretty neat, and I'm sure everyone wishes they had friends like you!

Default Very Proud of This One

I was lucky enough to snag one of those from E-Bay a short while ago also. The one I got had never been honed and was new/old stock. It was in the paper wrapper and beautiful!

I too had seen Army and Navy straights out there and figured there had to be a Marine one somewhere. When I saw the USMC Clauss I submitted a max bid and got it as a "second chance" offer. I was tickled pink.

The Clauss honed up very nicely and maintains its sharpness very well. It has become my favorite, hedging out my W&B notch point and my Red Bismark.

Your friend will really appreciate the thoughtfullness of your gift.

I finished cleaning it up last night and I do believe you are right. I cant see any hone wear at all.... I think this might have a very lucky buy on a hidden away NOS...

That is one heck of a razor and very thoughtful too.

I hope your buddy from the Corps enjoys your gift.

Lucky Guy! He'll love it! Tell him HELLO from another jarhead. 11th Engineer Battalion, Dong Ha, Vietnam Nam, 1967, 68. But, now, I don't have time to type anymore, I have to find one also.
