Thanked: 0My Grandfather's Razors
Hi all. When we were cleaning out my Grandfather's house about five years ago, we came across a few of his straight razors. I was looking for some comments on whether or not they're decent enough to use. I checked the newbie list of good and bad and I didn't see any of these listed(Is that bad? lol). Any info on then would be cool too. Thanks!
The top one isn't actually a face razor, I don't think as it was actually my grandma's. She was a hair dresser back in the day. The guard slides off and there's a rectangle blade under there.
The white one is engraved with "allied mfg corp solingen-germany
The third one down is engraved "64 1/2 J A Henckels Source Zwillingwerk"
The bottom one has "aveos" engraved on it.

They sound and look like they'd be worth restoring to use as shavers, henckels are popular around here and you can trust most blades from solingen.
