I have a few of the Wester Bros. razors. I've always considered them to be good shavers. Nothing fancy, but they hold a good edge. As a matter of fact my great grand father used a Wester Bros.

I have a coupel and they are both good shavers. The reasons to stray away are the same as any other.

Thank you for the reply and information. I think that I will pick up the Wester Brothers razor I have found.

I just used one today for the first time, probably my best shave yet (granted this is only the third razor I've used.)

That's right I have a couple now too, I ran across one in an antique store today. (Hope you weren't planning on getting the one you saw at an antique shop in fullerton, if so they have another in as good condition.)
