Default how much would you pay for this wade and butcher

I was in an antique store the other day and saw a wade and butcher which looked like it was in pretty good nick, no rust or chips in the edge but it was grey with tarnish. But i think it would come out with some polish. I didn't get a picture but it looked like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/Wade-and-Butcher...QQcmdZViewItem

what do you reckon? it was $35, i thought that was a bit steep but then i came on here and saw that they're pretty reputable razors.

It's nearly impossible to say without seeing it. W&B's are excellent razors, if it can be made shave ready, $35 is a good price. The value of a razor is what someone is willing to pay for it. If it looks like the one pictured, I would probably offer around $15, and see if the shop owner bites.

    I'd pay 15$ max.
It needs to be restored, which is also going to cost you either a lot of time, or a reasonable amount of money.

So if you buy it at 35, it will have cost ~70 or 80 after cleanup, honing and new scales (dep on scale material etc).

Of course, if you do all this yourself, then 35 might be an ok price if you don't mind investing your free time.
