Was this a bad deal,Ebay duck
I just 1 this on ebay i wanted to get a double duck for a while,the mint 1's seem to go for crazy amounts of money on ebay .The total with shipping was 49.00 was this a good deal or did i bid to much .I have not recieved it yet, the pics are from the ebay auction.

Well she is certainly far from mint, but with some time and elbow grease I'll bet she cleans up real nice! Hopefully both the blade and scales are 100% intact (no chips, etc...). I don't think thats a bad price for a decent razor that needs work. It's really a matter of what you think it's worth though. Post some pics once you get the razor!!

Me too.i agree,you have a very nice razor but with time and a proper technic you should finish with a very nice razor.

Thx guys for the info and advice ,i was just reading some of the restoration threads for info .I will be picking up some wet /dry sand paper and see if i can restore it.I have never done it before ,but if i can make it look half as good as some of the pics i saw in restoration forums i would be very happy.

dubl ducks are damn fine razors, give this one the tlc she needs and she'll be your best girl!
