Anyone have suggestions on where to get scales for these??? I have a pair that could use something nicer than the plastic.

    Thanks!!

I just had my first shave with a 7/8 Fridur Spanish point worked back (the same back as on Rickpr's Friodur). I must say that the worked back adds a certain "something" to the shave, it catches the light, glinting and shining as you move the razor over your face.

Very Aesthetically pleasing both looking at it sitting on your table, or especially so whilst shaving

    Ken,

Mine came from Robert Williams (Papabull). I've got a feeling that unless you make your own, you may have to send your razors out to someone like Robert for a rescale.

Well, they're harder than carbon steel, that's true. But I've never found mine to be uncomfortable or overly scratchy

I've found they are not as silky smooth on my face as some of my better CS blades (I reserve the right to change my opinion about this ), but I'm still glad I have one. Great shaver.

    Thanks James,

Good thought. I don't think I'm up to making my own... at this point, anyway.
