King of Whiskers? Have you heard of them?
i just found this razor, and wondered if anyone here had heard of this brand razor. is it decent? the scales look cool. its supposedly made in Germany. im sure it needs to be gone over to be made shave ready, but just wondered if it was just a peice of old metal thats not going to be good for shaving.

okay i got this razor.. im not too sure of it, i think its not too bad of a razor, but im a newbie.. it does have other marking on the tang..
on one side it says
"RUSSEL B.S. Co"
"TAMPA, FLORIDA"
"M.i. GERMANY"
the other side says
"KING OF WHISKERS"
"SPECIAL"
"$3.50"
then it has a "11" stamped vertically above the above mentioned.
Im pretty sure the scales are celluliod, or whatever
It needs a honeing, and a little cleanup, otherwise i think it will do okay.
let me know what you guys think. i really don't know.

Thanked: 0I have a "King of Whiskers" marked razor.....made by Washington cutlery co. A full hollow with an etched blade and one of my best shavers. Made NLT than 1909, when the firm went OOB.
