I own a belt strop , made by NON XLL STROP CO. NY. none as the , PERFECT BELT STROP # 20
now that I understand the trade mark NON XLL was used by Joseph Allen $ Sons after 1865 and probably ( possibly ) used
by others I am wondering just , who , actually made this Strop , I found a picture of the strop ( without a doubt ) on a collectors web site.
being that he has around 1700 pieces in his collection I believe his description of the Strop to be valid and true .
here in is my conundrum , was it made by Unwin & Rogers between 1838 and 1865 , or , ? , oh the dreaded ? mark .

    peafowlguy,

You've resurrected a thread which has been dead for two years. In addition, it's in the 'Razors' forum but you're asking about a strop. You may want to consider starting a new thread in the proper forum to get the best exposure to your query.
