Thanked: 22The picture on the right says: Quality light useful razor (The 3rd and 4th Kanji, I just did a literal translation of each as I haven't come across this word and not in my dictionary either [3rd=light, 4th = useful])
The left hand picture is out of focus so I can't make the top part out, if you can post a clearer pic that would be helpful. The bottom part of left photo has the brand name which is Meikou.
Hope this helps.

Thanked: 22No I don't know anything about them, thats the first time I heard of it.
I don't know how opening it would harm the collectability of the razor and find it rather odd that the person won't show you. Here in Japan when I pick up the Tosuke razors for people, the seller always insists I inspect the blade, sometimes 2x once when I check it before telling someone its for sale and then once when I buy it.
EDIT: AFIK a collector wouldn't buy something without inspecting it closely, so again that sounds odd.Last edited by OLD_SCHOOL; 04-09-2008 at 06:27 PM.

Thanked: 22That handle is odd, looks the same style as the disposables you get for $3 +/-. Only it looks like a solid piece of metal rather than a folded piece.
Are you able to get another clear photo of the back of the paper that the blade is wrapped in? That may contain more info.
