Thread: W. R. CASE & SONS razor

I saw this on Ebay, What do you all think of it?

The razor looks kind of average for an Eboy special. Case makes very good razors if it's one they made however there are alot of dedicated case collectors out there and very often they snap up anything case made at high prices. That auction is ended and I would never pay $162.00 for that razor.

WAY over priced!!!!

Its not just the razor, the Case brand is collectible… but the “set” (razor and case-hone-strop combo) made by the same manufacturer, with the Case Brand label still on the box, makes this auction a brand collectors dream. May have been a short production run by Case, so it may be truly rare.

I am not surprised at the final price.

On a personal note, I am not sure about the utility of the hone… looks like while honing the blade could slip of the hone and strike the little brass clip/catch and chip the edge.
