Thanked: 0Gun oil to preserve?
I'm noticing a small amount of rust beginning to develop around the pivot of one of my razors. Can I put a drop of gun oil on it to help prevent it from getting worse? I don't see any reason it wouldn't work on a razor? Or is there a better type of oil to use for this?
Thanks.

Thanked: 1587I've never been able to find it, but mparker once told me he uses something called Kano Kriol. Apparently it's wonderful stuff around the pivot and underneath the little plastic shank-condoms that some razors have.
