Sad story, Good find.........
I don't know how to "sugar-coat" this, so I'll just tell it like it is........
My Sister-in-law's Brother went "toes-up" recently......and he was a barber !
Now I'M an undertaker, (so I know when to shut-up & be sensitive), But the fact remains that I was hoping for some "goodies"......(that he obviously wouldn't need anymore).
My Brother came through !..........
I live in Florida, but the death happened in Detroit, so I couldn't make the trip. My Brother however HAD to go, (after all, it's his Brother-in-law).
Long story short........Four razors:
2 (two) - Temprite #25
1 (one) - Red Imp .....(maybe a CaseŽ) ?
1 (one) - Red Imp......(says something like: Ludo & Sher Razorworks....Solingen......) something like that ?
I would assume there's a load of great stuff, like hot-lather machines, strops, hones, hot-towel steamers, maybe even a genuine barbers chair !...........
We'll See ! ! !............

But I did acquire everything you mentioned except a towl steamer. I did get a Boker,Friodur Henckles,Antalope and one that says nothing but Sterling. A hot lather machine 7 really nice vintage hones 4 were belgians and yes a Barbers chair that I really have no use for and a Vintage manual to Barbering from (has alot of honing and stroping guides)Actual Barbering school. I owned some of my great grandfather's straits but never shaved with em. Then I aquired these by stumbling apon them in a box I was already going to get strop and hones for sharpening my scaples (taxidermist). Now im shaving with em and loving it!
It's a bad deal like you say but at the very least they should go to some one who will apreciate them, use em and maintain them. Not stick em in a closet.

As Vashaver said, the items are going to someone who will use them, take care of them, and appreciate them. He would have wanted that, I expect.
It would be really tasteless of me to wish you good luck in all your undertakings. So, of course, I'm going to do it.
