I have a timor blue steel 6/8 straight razor I hone it strop it and it passes the hht however after a cople of shaves and stropping a few small nicks apear on the edge I am careful when using it and do not think it occurs when shavin.. I have ruled out the strop causing this as other razors that I have do not end up with nicks ever. Has anyone had this trouble before and could it be the steel has flaws that may break off when stropping, these chips are not present after honing on the norton 8000 but apear quite soon sfter a few uses and stroppings. many thanks Nicknov
