    Default 13 Razors

    ....that are in my rotation.

And my favorite is the Filly #13 on the top left. Talk about tempting fate.

I've got 3 right now in rotation

    1) 7/8 Filarmonica Doble Temple from CS
    2) 5/8 Founder's Razor from CS
    3) 4/8 Erik Antonberg w/ ivory scales

All shave equally well, I think I like the manueverability of the little guy the best, shaves off the whiskers just as well as the big filly.

That's not water on the razors btw, it's dovo sterol, started using it on all my razors after shaving because of the humidity in Hawaii, I've noticed some rust on some razors that were stored dry previously.

13 is a very unlucky number, you'd better send me that razor on the lower right (you know... um... to balance out the fact that your favorite is the upper left... yeah that's it.)

That one on the lower right is a Genco "Safege" (yeah...spelled right) Came in a leather case with two snaps. The square shaped notch at the end of the heel is curious , isnt it. I dont know what purpose it serves.... maybe to lock it in the tooling for grinding?

its one of 3 razors I got in a small lot of shaving stuff on eBay for $10.50 . Cant believe none of you were giving me a run for it on that auction...lol.

    Oooh very nice!

I'm awaiting my paycheck to pick up one of those Filly 13's. I love a big razor.

I know it's an old post, if you haven't figured out your Genco Safege, it's missing a 'safety' Guard that clipped on the indent in the tang, and swiveled with a notch into the hole on the end, you could flip that quard up to strop it.., down to shave..more safely..
