Legendary Jag
This morning I shaved with an old Le Jaguar razor. It had no hone wear and required minimum honing to bring up a fine edge. The Jaguar was made by the now defunct Grelot company in Thiers, France. It is probably Sheffield steel as it is an incredibly smooth and comfortable shaver.
I find it very similiar to my Thiers-Issard razors in feel.

Thanked: 735I take it this is a recent Ebay purchase? I was thinking to bid on that one, as I really like my vintage LeGrelot I recently restored, and the Le Jag looks pretty similar.
Nice grab!
Please post pics! We all need a fix!

Yes, the Jag is one of my recent ebay purchases I am waiting for a Grelot to arrive. My pics of the Jag were not clear so I am redoing them.
