Default Str8s Made in Spain ???

Are there any quality straight razors currently being manufactured in Spain?
I could have my sister bring me one this summer.
    I've tried Google without success.
    Thanks

Have you checked out Filarmonica razors? I believe they are made in Spain.

By the way, Filarmonica has discontinued production of straight razors, but I'm betting your sister could find one during her trip without much trouble.

To my knowledge there are none currently being made in Spain. However there are plenty of Filly's floating around both NOS and vintage.

In Spain, no straight razors are made. In 1982, shaving with straight razors in barbers shops was prohibited. Only replaceable blades in razors are allowed. Visiting many cutlery shops perhaps I can find some Filarmonicas but it's hard. Filarmonica stopped manufacturing about 5 years ago and were not as good as vintage "Jose Montserrat pou". I bought 2 but recently, it has been very very difficult to find them.

Another straight razor made in Spain of very good quality is the "Palmera." Filarmonica made razors for others manufacturers.
