    Default Engraving razors.

So, where could I get my new raszors engraved? that is, where in the USA can I get a company to etch something on the razor and where on the blade would it be better to do it?

If you mean you would like the actual blade *engraved* such as what they do in gun engraving, I'm afraid it can't be done, at least not without major risks to the blade. If you meant *etching* then yes, it can be done and Joe Chandler for one does a very nice job from what I have seen in pictures. I suppose laser engraving could be possible but it's technically etching as far as I am concerned. Engraving would have to be done before hardening and a fairly heavy blade such as a wedge would be a prerequisite.

(edit: Sorry, I should have read more carefully, you did mention etching later in your post which is the correct way to go... I'll leave my original answer in case someone else was wondering).
