john had a couple of beautiful str8s to the texas meet up this weekend. they were amazing. had i brought a little more cash-ola i would have taken one home. beautiful. plus he helped in a honing clinic get a henckels into a very close shave ready state. unfortunately, i had to leave, but his honing and thoughts behind it were excellent for learning.
you will enjoy that blade.

Thanked: 586I received a beautiful razor from John Crowley yesterday and I shaved with it this morning before taking Mom out for Mother's Day. That razor is my new fav. It is about three times as heavy as the 5/8 DOVO and 4/8 Genco I had been shaving with. It came to me sharpened to what seems to be an imaginary level. It handled well and shaves as smooth as silk. I just love a big cleaver! I am now awaiting the big Filarmonica that is with Lynn to be honed before it comes to me. Oh boy!

Great to hear. John has been a great asset to the Dallas Fort Worth Meet-ups and is a super nice guy. The Wackers are gorgeous in person. I'm sure you'll be happy for many years with that razor.

I have gotten two Dorko’s and 4 or 5 Henckels from him. Nice guy, he even called me one evening to let me know a shipment had been delayed.
