    Question Wolfius razors - history,quality?

Wolfius. I have been trying to research this name and have found absolutely nothing.
Is this a quality mfg. or lower end? Any history on the company? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

What i have is a set of 2 celluloid straight razors in their original box, mint, mint condition. The box is crocodile embossed leather and marked inside "WOLFIUS Registered". The logos on the razors is a W with wings... (4 straight razors making the form of a W).

I wish I could help , but all I can say is , they look like a nice set of high end razors . My guess would be that they date to 1920-30 , but that's just a guess . Do they have the name of the country where they were made , somewhere on the razors or the box ?

Yes, they are marked "Made in Germany" on the reverse side of the logo area. I'm still looking for any other information on this company.... still can't find anything on the internet. Thanks!

I wish you luck , if you do find anything about the company , please post it on the forum . I can sympathize with you , I have a few razors of my own that are still a mystery .

I can relate to your dilemma, I have a very nice shaver with cream scales that has no markings at all. Not even a place to start any research.
