    Default new razor

Ok, I was looking through one of the old shops in town and they had a razor.
I asked about it and the lady asked, what'll you give me for it.
Since I don't know anything about str8s and she didn't either...I gave her $5, we both seemed happy.
    Now, I need some info.

The razor says SCHOONHOVEN on it, the other side says Davenport, Iowa...any ideas?

I figure if its a POS at least I have something to practice honing with!

Yes, I did a search in the razor section and didn't find anything...I'll go search the other sections now.
    Thanks

I would guess (and its only a guess) that was the retailer and it was made elseware. It should say something like Solingen or made in Germany if it was made outside the U.S unless its really old like pre WW l.

So I figured right...I spent $5 on a practice razor that I might be able to shave with some day....COOL!

Can you post a picture? There are a hell of a lot more decent blades out there than bad quality blades, so the chances are you got a winner!

I know that area has a large Germay population and just a few mile away you have Amana colonies.

You might have a gem there.
