Thread: Test your knowledge!!! Razor I.D. sought...

I have been consistently impressed by the knowledge on this forum, down to the finest of details, and am hoping to get some help to identify the maker of a couple of razors that I have picked up recently.
So this should be a real test for those of you who have a knowledge of Sheffield made razors, and it would really make my day to find out if a risky purchase has payed off.
The inscription says that they have been made for a company in Sydney, Australia, called W. JNO Baker Ltd of 3 Hunter Street. There is no manufacturers name however, either on the razor or the boxes, and the only other clue I can see is the pattern on the plainer of the two razors. The other side of both razors has only the inscription "Made in Sheffield".

I am not speaking from knowledge I have, but my best guess and suspicions scream out Cadman, the same people responsible for Bengal razors! If this is the case then you did real good!

That sounds like a good fit. I have been picking up a few razors recently from the New Zealand version of ebay - Trademe - and a couple have been Cadman's.
I take it that Bengall's are well thought of then?!!
