Thanked: 1212If it's only surface rust, you could try polishing it off, with some polishing compound. "Maas" is often reported here as a good brand.
You should always dry your razor thoroughly after use, allow it some time to dry in the air and then store it in a dry place. You could apply some protective oil. I use liquid paraffin myself, but normal mineral oil will do too.

Where's the rust? Everything in the photo has a rusty red tint. I guess if that was my razor, I would try some light sanding with high-grit wetted paper on whatever I thought was a surface spot

Thanked: 1212Any metal polish will do. Silver polish is fine. If you have the finest possible steel wool (rated "000") you can use that to rub. Otherwise, a cotton rag will work too. You'll need some pressure to make it work. It's best to put the razor on a steady surface for supporting it. Be careful not to cut yourself. It might take some time, but you should start to see improvement after a few minutes. Based on what I can make out of that picture (it's a bit blurred), I think you'll do fine.
Good luck,
Bart.
