    Default Anybody know what type of razor this is?

    Anybody know what this is? The "H" symbol is the only thing on the blade.

    No idea what kind of razor,but I think I know what the H stands for.It stands for HAVE,as in let me HAVE it.Nice razor.Beautiful find!

    I" think" it may be a Herbrand out of Fremont Ohio 1894-1929
    if my memory serves correctly that is their symbol....
    Keep in mind this is just a guess I don't have another of their razors to compare it to.... but I think I saw that symbol on an ebay razor

    I think the H. may be for H. Boker. I discussed that razor when it was up for auction with Doc and I think he had the same idea. If the covered tang ever starts to break down, you'd be able to see the makers mark, and I think it would be H. Boker.

    But I am just guessing too....

    It may be a boker. Here is a picture of a boker I have the scales are pretty close but the engravings are different.

    It is my belief that its a Boker but could be wrong. Wouldnt be the first time.

    What type of razor? Looks like a so called "straight razor" to me. I heard people used them for shaving a long time ago.

    (I also think it's a Boker)
