Thanked: 13245C-Mon Razors !!!!
This is a NOS 11/16 C-MON "Handmade" I lucked into last week, I am really starting to like these razors....
And have started collecting more and more.... They are Made in Germany and imported by JP Michael of Brooklyn NY or by Carl Monkhose of Ellicotsville NY
Here are pics of the other 2 that are in the shaving rotation an "HF" and an "XX"
Another called a "Blackie" is coming up in the restore drawer very quickly and a few more that I have seen out there are on the watch list targeted for sniper action

Thanked: 13245C-mon Blackie
This is the Carl Monkhouse "Blackie" 11/16 Spike that I just got to... Not much to restore, had to take out a couple of stains, polish her back up, and hone her up.... This is another NOS not a hone mark on her....
Gotta say they do take an edge....

Thanked: 3Nice razors Glen!
I've been trying to get my hands on one of these razors for ages! But I too have fallen victim on numerous occasions to the sniper programmes on ebay! Is it just me or does this not seem fair??! B@5T4RD5!!!

Thanked: 13245Sniper Programs are all over the net I use Biddnapper, I also used to think it wasn't playing fair, but I saw the error of my ways... With snipes you put in the max yer going to bid, and walk away, there are no stupid bidding wars...
IF ya walk away LOL

I've got a C-mon wedge with my restores that I have yet to get to. It has a chip in it, but other than that looks pretty clean.

I have been looking to get a CMON razor as well. I've read the maker was very selective in his choice of steel and used one source exclusuvely to maintain quality and consistency.

My C-MON wedge is a great shaver. I also have three or four others that have yet to be honed. I'm busy flattening my Norton 4/8k and maybe I'll break out one or two C-MONS and finally hone them bad boys!
