Thread: Zme Superiop Feazme

I know the title looks like the text of a spam email, but that's the best I can make out on the top line of a razor I just got. Hopefully someone here may have some concept of what that means or where this razor came from.

There's a few things confusing me;
1) the word feazme comes up on a romanian site, but not in when I use a website to translate from romanian to english. No hits on Zme and one translation said that superiop=upper in romanian.

2) I don't think this razor is concave at all, when I lay it on a flat surface the whole flat of the blade touches, I shine a light from behind and nothing comes through.

Here's the ebay auction I got it from (don't laugh, I'm using this as my first full restoration project: ) THE SUPER 10 PTEATEL FOR BARBERS ONLY STRIGHT RAZOR I know it says the text is different in the auction, but using the tip of a small knife I got zme superiop feazme and don't feel there has been enough wear to rub one letter into looking like something else.

Hopefully someone has some sort of info, or knows romanian or latin or whatever language it's in. If not, thanks for looking and trying.

Yeah, humor is what basically got me it... I bid the bare minimum. Turns out that under all that orange goo there's a decent razor!

You should post some pics of it all cleaned up. Have you shaved with it yet? I bet it gives a superiop sheava on the ol' feazme.

Still sanding away at it, but I am taking pics of the process so pics will follow!
