Thread: Understanding Hollow Ground Blades

Please help me understand the meaning of "1/4, 1/2 and full hollow ground" blades. How does this feature change the quality of the shave, if at all? What is the most desired "ground"?

I think that you need to determine for yourself which grind of razor will be your favorite.
In addition to the grind, the blade width can and does effect the comfort of the shave.
So there are many combinations you can experiment with to find and achieve your own perfect razor.
