Thanked: 15If I had been able to send it to Lynn for honing then it would have probably escaped customs, but in this instance I got stung. Lynn sends razors he hones from Classic Shaving with a customs sticker stating 'Razor Sharpening $20'. This would seem to be quite legitimate as he is not the retailer of the item and the only service he has under taken is the honing. Seemed to work out that way on a Ti I purchased from Classic.
Anyway no complaints re having to pay this time. I have had a few items come in from abroad that I haven't been charged for previously, and they all had full declarations on them.
Basically, I'm still quids in.
Minor points on the Livi-
A small pitting/casting mark still visible on the spine.
The scales haven't been finished properly. They are cut from a single piece of wood and it is apparent that the cutting blade has gone in at two different depths.Last edited by Black Beard; 06-14-2008 at 10:06 PM.

Thanked: 15I put the Livi through its paces this morning and it shaves very smoothly.
It seems to have a stiffer grind than my Ragg, but I'm certain it will fast become my razor of choice.
