Used it again this morning. I only had a day’s worth of whiskers to mow down. The edge had ‘settled in’ and the light scratchy feeling has passed. I soaped up with some sweet orange bay rum soap from TGQ and gave the blade 50 passes on leather. One pass with the grain, one against, baby bottom smooth. I won’t say it is the best shaver in the stable, but that could change in a day or two when the edge is broken in. It is a 9.2 on my scale right now but I have never had a perfect 10 so that is darn high on the scale. I am satisfied with my purchase.
