Thanked: 0"constantine biskinty"
just picked up a new blade. marked constantine biskinty on the tang, etched on the blade is King Edward of England. dont have a camera now but if anyone knows anything about this piece or needs a pic for more info i would be able to get one up in a day or two. there is very little info out there aside from people listing it on ebay.

This is an 11-year old post and the OP hasn’t posted since 2009. You’ll be lucky to get a response regarding the specific razor.

The OP relates the name is etched on the tang. Usually means the name of a maker or dealer, not owner.
In researching your grandfather, where was he located and could he have been a seller, hardware merchant, etc?
Found this...https://instappraisal.com/appraisal/...ia-constantine
Definitely a seller/merchant.

Had some issues with Maloof. I have seen that name on New York dealt razors. Lots of merchant names here in New York's Arab community. Your grandfather seems to have been one himself?Last edited by sharptonn; 01-01-2020 at 05:41 PM.

Thanked: 0Thank you. This was my great grandfather. I made a mistake as my grandfather was a Constantine, but middle name. I knew nothing about my great grandfather, so perhaps he sold razors. Anyway, thank you!
