    Default Twin Question

Ijust bought a 5/8 round point Twinworks 451. The seller reported that it was stainless. How can I tell? There is nothing on the blade to state this. All it says is Henckels Twinworks solingen Germany and the number 451. There are no dancing twins stamped on the blade. It looks like it could be stainless. It did not have its orignial case. Could someone help with ways to know this?

Well, I was going to suggest using a magnet, but I just tried one on a couple of my Friodurs and the magnet pulls to the spine a little. Not as much as on a Dovo, though. Hmmm. Did you try honing it yet. Ya know, stainless is more of a PITA to hone.

    Default Twinworks Help

Here are pictures of a new twinwork. It is marked JA Henckels Twinworks 451. There are no twins stamped on it. It was advertised as stainless but I don't really know how to determine this. Any help on how to verify that this s indeed a true JA Henckels Twinworks and that it is indeed stainless. It is shaveready.
    Thanks

The other way is to take one of your finest carbon steel razors, and this razor; dip them in water and see how quickly said razor rusts compared to the carbon steel razor.

    Sorry, I'm not much help!

Did the seller mean stainless as in the blade is free from stains?

    Default Twin Question

He advertised as stainless steel. WIthout the twin logo on the blade, I wonder if it is really a Henckels Any help or suggestions would be great.
