Default Shop in San Francisco bay area?

Newbie here. Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but, her it goes!

Can anyone recommend a shop in San Francisco, or the surrounding area, to have a new razor brought up to shaving snuff?

I'm just a little impatient to send it off. Though, maybe I should be...

    Anyway, all help appreciated!

The Well Honed Razor is in Turlock Ca. You can find Mike in the vendors forum here.

I'm about 2 hours away, in the central valley.
What do you need, just an initial honing? on the razor, or are you looking for a place where you can get some personalized information as well?
If you want, I can meet you somewhere, and give you a honing lesson... I need a good excuse to get out of the valley and away from all this smoke.

The only problem is I'm working this weekend, and going on vacation next Fri!

Although, I may take you up on that when I come back. That is, if there is still smoke to get you out of Turlock... Hopefully there won't be.

I've "spoken" to some folks on lj and in other forums and the fires here seem to be getting barely any air time... outside of the ones that threatened the wealthier places (Yolo county can go up in smoke but... OMG Big Sur!!!) I've compiled some of my experiences with the fires on my lj (below). It has been bad here in Sacramento.. I can't imagine how nasty its been in Chico and other places closer to the front lines. The pics on SacBee's web site are quite compelling.

ignore the Adult Content Notice...I default my lj to that for salty speach
