    Default Razor Info wanted

I recently bought a razor off ebay and have been able to find no information about it. The seller said that he though it may be a razor bought by the US Army for issue during WWI. Any info would be appreciated.

    On the should is stamped

    John Heiror
    3 Paradise Square
    Sheffield

    and on the opposite side

    Made for the Army
    and a big C

more likely for the British army... I'm guessing a pre-1890 blade there

I'd agree that British army is more likely than US.

I'm really out on a limb here, but could the C mean it was for a cavilry officer...or maybe a captain or corporil (I'm pretty sure that's spelled wrong)? Or is that the type of information that would most likely be scratched into the scales.
