There is a "Shave Den" thread over on the Shaving thread http://straightrazorpalace.com/shavi...en-parade.html to give you a better idea. We don't have a lot of gear yet as we're also just starting out, but I'm sure once RAD bites more suitable storage will have to be agreed upon.

I put them back in their own box in the bathroom. No rust issue. I never oil them, too much fuss.

I keep mine in a wooden cabinet drawer in my computer room. This room is very dry so there aren't any issue with rust.

After shaving I rinse it under hot water, wipe them down with a paper tissue and blow dry them with a hair dryer. Than it's back in the drawer.

Being kind of a pocket knife collector I have more than 200 in that cabinet and over the years never had any rust or tarnish on them.

    Good luck

I actually did look through that thread before I made this one. I was looking for more specifics from users about their storage methods and contraptions, rather than just general pictures of their shave dens

I don't have any one box. I have most in a Gerstner Box and a bunch more in a 12 place box made by one of the members here and another 10 in a vintage box I refinished and a bunch more in some wood pen boxes and a bunch more in the boxes they came in. If I had only known how many razors I would wind up with I could have better planned but Se la Vie.

I have a small cardboard box on my TV stand which is beside my door. Ya, I'm pretty cheapo.

I put mine in inexpensive stack-able plastic pencil boxes with a packet of renewable desiccant. The ones that are large enough to hold about 12 razors in their own boxes.

I use a small square wooden box with a sliding top. It is a little thicker than a book. Probably the same size as a cigar box.

I store my enormous colection of 3 razors in the bathroom in the little cart I have in there. I keep them inside a air-tight plastic bag in their original boxes, toguether with a bag full of sillica. I guess when RAD strikes again I just might rethink this method... works great so far.
