    Default help with ID

could some one please help with the lettering and date with this W&B ,I have never seen markings like these ,VR is the reign Queen Victoria ,But I`ve never seen WR, I was wondering if it`s for the house of Windsor where all the royal stock has come from of late and note the short tail , I`m thinking its an early one
    Kind regards Peter

    W.R indicates King William IV (1830 - 1837).

Windsor is just a less German-sounding re-name of the house of von Saxe-Coburg Goethe, which was adopted after the Great War of 1914-1918.
