Thread: Ivory Scales on a Friodur?????

I was looking at the razors in this post:

and I thought that the handles looked very much like the ones on my Friodur. So I was wondering if anyone knows if they made Friodurs with ivory scales??

I've never seen or heard of a Fridour with ivory scales until recently. John Crowley at shavingshop is offering friodurs with Pre-ban elephant ivory now but vintage Friodurs typically had white celluloid faux ivory scales.

That's what I thought. My Friodur has scales that don't look similar to other Friodurs I've seen online, but it could be just that mine is older or newer and of course it is hard to see in a picture.
