    Default identify... bismarck

I found a 5/8 razor, with yellow/green celulloid/plastic scales and it says bismarck on the blade. Could you tell me something about it? 30 dollars. OK condition.

There was indeed a 'Bismarck Razor Works' in Solingen C. 1900 - 1930 - Dovo bought the trade name in around 1957 and still use it today on some of their razors. The other way a 'Bismarck' is known is by the blade shape - shoulderless and (to my eyes anyway) very elegant - as indeed the Dovo Bismarcks are now. You do not say what blade type yours is but if a shouldered blade it's likely a 'Bismarck Works' razor.
