I was looking around on the web to see if I could find some information on when the razors would've been manufactured as I'm currently working on restoring a seven day set. I was quite surprised to find that E A Berg lived from 1856 - 1903 per this website:

Schwedische Werkzeughersteller und -händler: E. A. Berg, Eskilstuna

The page can be translated from German to English using this google site:

I was quite surprised to find that the razors I was working on are over a century old. Was just wondering as I was working on them, realized I was treading where someone over a hundred years ago had also tread before.

Edit: Looks like I came across some pictures of his old home.

Not so long ago I bought a near mint and near shave-reade E.A. Berg in Sweden for 140 Sw. Crowns which equals about 24 USD (shipping included!).
The razor looks less old so I wonder how much longer after mr Berg died the company continued to carry the E.A. Berg name.

I was curious about the same thing if they continued making them with his name after his death. Seemed like he died pretty young only 47 years old.
