    Default Razors to avoid

I'm wanting to try straight razors and I was wondering are there any brands/makers that arent worth bothering with?

    Hi,
Avoid anything of Pakistani origin. Zeepk are apparently awful. Stick to German/Sheffield to be safe, but there are others of note.
Ebay can offer some surprises, both good & bad. Altima55 is a reputable seller there, the classifieds here or dovo are a safe place to start.
    All the best
    Ben

+1, go to the classifieds here. You can't go wrong with a restored, shave ready razor.

Take a look at the following thread: http://straightrazorpalace.com/newbi...ght-razor.html

About half way down are some recommended and some stay away from even if they are free razors.

    Cheers
