Thread: a good eBay buy?

So was looking for a razor that had a smiley and a notch or french point. I came across this razor and won.

Yes, this was a most excellent good buy (dude, lol). 1st of all, it's a W&B which is a very sought after razor, in what looks to be in great condition. + it looks to be about a 7/8 chopper. If you look in our new "Classified" section you will find razors in there that are not nearly as nice, or desirable as this one for a heck of a lot more. - at lest $125.00 +

You could turn around and sell that for twice the price you paid for it. Prices are going up for real good str8's these days.

The biggest thing is that your happy with what you spent. W&B's are good razors as Steve said. It looks like someone has done a lot of resto work to this one for you. Since the condition of the scales, with all the scratches and gouges, plus what looks like a T by the butt end, I would guess the blade has been reground. There's nothing wrong with that just an observation. With the shine on the scales I would guess they finished it with something.
Overall I think you did pretty good. Let us know how it shaves
