When looking at that interesting razor use a pair of cheater reading glasses to check for nicks, cracks, makers' marks, and any other flaws/blessings. I bought a pair of +4 glasses for $2.99 at our Gibson's Store. If your eyes can't adjust to off-display generic cheaters-do get your eye doctor to prescribe some jeweler's lenses. I always use my cheaters at gun/knife shows and anytime I am in the buying mood of used stuff. If loupes weren't so expensive, I would like to use one of them. They impart professionalism and panache like that of a diamond merchant. Cool.
