Thread: 7 day razor roll

finished up 3 of these last night. i think they came out really well. i will probably make a few more of these this next week if anyone is interested.

they are canvas, double lined thickness. 7 slot with a couple of larger slots in case you want to keep the str8 in the box. @ 12"x10". navy blue with orange thread to distinguish the slots. overflap to cover the tangs, with the slots long enough to securely hold the str8s. the small slots are big enough to hold 8/8 razors depending on make. the larger slots should hold most customs, with the exeption of maybe Livis. i saw kenrups, and that thing is massive. but don't get me wrong, the one i show in the center slot is a 11/16 wostenholm pipe and it is held very well.

these currently hold 7 str8s, but i am thinking of doing a 2 or3 blade, or customer specific rolls as well. what do you think and is anyone interested? ignore the little ghost like line on the bottom. that is a crayon pencil to help with lines. i have not washed this one yet.

update. i made a few more, although some are already spoken for. i have only navy blue at this point just to finish out my material, but i have a tan material as well and will make some more with that color. if you want to specifically order one of those, let me know. the stitching will be navy blue on those. i will post these in classifieds, but just wanted to show some more porn.

i was asked about a 15 day roll, so how about a 16 day roll? this was a prototype just to see on the size and test the roll up. also, i wanted to see on the color. thoughts?

1st pic is rollup size compared to 7 day.
2nd is issue to address. this slot shows the razor when rolled up. this will be addressed on next roll. still holds 15 without this one!!!!
3rd is roll folded in half. fold the other way and this will easily fold over a towel rack.
4th pic is full unfolded roll
5th and 6th is for comparison against the 7 day roll for unfolded size comparison.

Cool. I'm glad to see you incorporated that "flap" on the new one. I was going to suggest that actually, like the leather one at CS has. Yours might cover up that final razor more if you actually widened it to go up to the middle divide between top and bottom razors. Looks great though!
