Thanked: 1Ed. Wüsthof Tridente Standard 1933?
I picked this up recently, and it looks really great. The blade seems quite thin (sounds like paper being dragged accross the hone/strop).
I gave it a hone on my carborundum barber hone, a bit on a pasted strop and on my normal strop. The edge seems to have been taken on quite well (considering there was no real method to what I did), and although it won't cut a hanging hair, once you move the blade to the finger where the hair is, it will just pop off.
Can anyone tell me anything about this razor at all? It is in great condition and very pretty. Looks like it wasn't too cheap either.

Thanked: 735I'll tell you something about that razor:
If you ever want to sell it, PM me first!
I have one of those and it is perhaps my finest shaving razor. Something about the shape of the blade and the full hollow really gives me an excellent shave!

Thanked: 4942They are excellent shavers. I just honed one up for a member. It was his grandfathers. Got to tell you that it was in near mint condition and it didn't want to leave..........................................
I'm always on the look out for these.

Thanked: 1903I have one, too. It is every bit as good as my predecessors said. Or maybe better. Also, I love the scales.
