Thanks Ray,
I purchased one last night. This will be my first really big blade, I can't wait! I also got Lynn's honing service and this will be my first professionally honed razor as well. After four months of getting pretty good shaves with my personally honed razors, I'm anxious to see if I have been missing out on anything. Well, thanks again Ray for the heads up.
Cheers,

So True! Because not every razor is worth the money someone is asking, I would like to invite folks to add to the . We have started a section with information of buying antique razors including QUESTIONS that folks should ASK SELLERS. People getting ripped off on ebay is nothing new, People getting ripped off in the classifieds is something we are hoping to avoid. Thanks for the information Ray! As always, Newbies are encouraged to ask other members about anything they are considering purchasing!

Thanks for the tip Ray! It's people like you and a bunch of others with your very helpful information and tips that keeps me coming back to this forum. I purchased one of these Filarmonicas a short while ago and like the blade a lot. If I didn't just buy a Dorko I would have considered another one of these from Classic.
